To create the impression that skin is
melting together,
I tried to accomplish the lighting, which is not only beautiful but also portrait details.
The most difficult part in the retouching stage was merging the texture of each person’s skin.
The professional attitude of the models,
Ms.Minami and Mr.Agawa, was a huge help
at the shoot, where we had to make quick decisions under time constraints.
I will be honored if you feel a sensation of
“melt in” with your brain from these works.

The beauty of Japanese women’s skin
is special.
It is not only just surface texture, but also the projection of the spirit within it and the beauty of the life itself is what I think makes it shine.
We visualized the moment when the skin reaches the “melting point of passion.”
Not as unrealistic visuals, but we tried to accomplish these works, which are beautiful and somewhat comical or sad, in order to remind viewers of some kind of feeling such as “likely it is,” or “likely it was,” in the core
of their bodies.
