Art director Toshihiro Komatsu, whom I had just met, already knew the answers to questions about life that I had been pondering for many years. At our first meeting he introduced me to new vocabulary and we discussed so many fascinating subjects. The various topics included the universe and the human body, life, destiny, the third dimension and the fourth dimension, and in the end we even got to the fifth dimension. Of course at that time I still didn’t understand what “the fifth dimension” was about. Basically it means “liberation from the force of gravity.” I’m sketchy on the details, but I felt a desire for this unknown realm to be a greater part of our entertainment. And there was one thing I noticed as this project came closer to completion: perhaps the fifth dimension is actually something more familiar to us than I’d thought. If we turn parallel worlds that exist simultaneously (inside the brain) into live-action, is this what it would be like?

One day, I lost sense of who I was. I had no idea what I was in the past, how to explain who I am now, or who I would be in the future.
The modern human creates attachment with objects and depends on other people to justify their existence. However, we do not truly understand where we are and who we are.
We don’t need to understand. The world is constantly changing; it never retains the same form. The concept of time is the axis that shows we exist. Because of the phenomenon called gravity, we can feel ourselves.
By creating, we can recognize shape, awareness and the self. It is a concept that transcends dimensions, even in a unique space where we cannot perceive gravity.
