冷やされたライチ、一粒の豆、深海の生物、
人体が「主体」から解放され、
わたしとは無関係の平面の上にたち現れた。
独自の存在感を放つ、それらの物質性に
身の毛がよだつ。
紛れもなくわたし自身であることを
脳はすんなり理解できずに麻痺を起こす。

Nigiri-zushi on plain wood, ripe peach,
refrigerated lychee, a bean,
a deep sea creature...
The human body has been liberated from
being the “subject,” so to speak,
and appeared on the plane surface in a manner that relates in no way to us.
These objects have a distinct presence,
and their properties give us goose bumps.
Unmistakably, they paralyze us, as our brains are unable to comprehend that
they are parts of us.
